Beaches

The green hillside ends up at a small picturesque gulf, with 3 wonderful beaches. Their beauty makes it difficult which one to choose. On the left side, there is the largest one, called Kalamakia (or Agyra) and next to it, a tiny cove, the Gorgona.
In the center of the gulf, there is a sandy beach, Vordona, which reminds of the tropical paradise.
Finally, on the right side, you will find Agia Varvara’s beach, pebbly and sandy.
On its waters, is reflected Aravikia, one of the most southern hills of the Taygeto’s mountain range. The beach owes its name to the 11th Byzantine church of Agia Varvara, Kavoulako’s family heirloom.
The beauty of the village is changing smoothly and harmoniously, like the typical Maniot land.
The turquoise waters certainly satisfy the most demanding….
All three beaches are very children friendly, very clean and their waters are not deep.
